Zoe & Mike's Custom Wedding Photography Proposal
SATURDAY, MAY 31, 2025 | THE LINE HOTEL | WASHINGTON, DC
I’m so glad you’re here!
It's an honor to be considered to photograph your upcoming wedding. I can envision it now: an intentional celebration in the heart of DC with your family and friends surrounding you.
It's important to have a photographer you can fully trust on your wedding day. You'll need a team who:
- Documents authenticity and joy by having a keen eye for in-between moments
- Seamlessly captures the day with a thoughtful style and approach
- Understands when and how to direct photos without interrupting your experience
Zoe & Mike,
"Kiyah's ability to tell a story through photographs and her attention to the details of the day made it easy to hire her."
- GABY & CHRIS
I believe that a photograph doesn't become a memory until you've held it in your hands. I'm passionate about you experiencing the beauty of tangible memories through albums, print boxes, and more.
Rather than repeating stiff, cookie cutter poses, I focus on moments that uniquely reflect your genuine interactions without feeling like it's a day-long photoshoot.
There's no loud personas or bossy personalities on my team. We subtly document the day with a gentle yet confident perspective without interrupting your moments.

We aim to go beyond just wedding day and engagement session coverage by specializing in documenting your entire weekend from rehearsal dinner to farewell brunch. By connecting with your loved ones outside of the pressure of the big day, we are able to document all of the moments more effectively and naturally.
With all of the hustle and bustle on a wedding day, you'll need a discerning artistic eye to anticipate and capture the in-between moments that matter. I use a photojournalistic approach rooted in capturing candid moments and authentic interactions as they naturally unfold. So, your images reflect the true experience of your wedding instead of replicating others.
Having photographed weddings for ten years, I've learned the delicate balance of offering advice without taking over. By working seamlessly with you and your vendor team, we will create a timeline that accommodates your most important moments, resulting in photos that make you look and feel amazing.
Don't you want your wedding photos to actually look like you? Instead of relying solely on trendy digital presets to edit your images, we incorporate analog film as a primary medium. This ensures consistent colors that accurately portray the hues of your skin tones and design choices.
Best described as a calm and reassuring presence on the wedding day, I subtly document your day with a gentle yet confident photojournalist-inspired perspective. This helps you feels at ease and relieved that your photographer understands when and how to direct photos without interrupting your experience.
That's why ten years and 100+ weddings ago, I decided to help couples and their loved ones fully enjoy the experience of being photographed on their wedding day as much as they love reliving every moment again for years to come.
Gallery Highlights
When a Korean bride marries a Greek groom, it turns into a colorful cultural celebration! The Line was a perfect place for these two get married--Paul actually got ready for the day at their apartment in walking distance to the hotel. I loved photographing the way these two were full of emotions, happy tears, and fully embracing each moment with their friends and families.
This wedding was just bursting with color, personality, and genuine fun! Hayley and Danny wanted a laid-back and intentional day. They incorporated a lot of color in their design and filled the day with thoughtful touches. And they even gave handwritten thank you notes to each of their guests!
Emma and Rye's wedding was one I could have photographed over and over again! They fully trusted me and my team and let their love for each other and their guests overflow. Emma is a triplet and Rye is a big brother so it was special to see the sibling connections play out. Most of all, they cared about enjoying their wedding day to the fullest.
